What comes to mind when you hear someone say “glow up”? Maybe you think of new clothes, a new hairstyle, or a trip to the spa. Being a nutritionist, I immediately think of food.
Want to glow up from the inside out? Follow the nutrition tip for this week:
Eat veggies at every meal.
Simple as that. I'm sure you've heard this one before…so let's talk about why you should actually DO IT this time:
Veggies = Fiber = Fullness
Vegetables are nature’s multivitamin.
Eating veggies keeps you healthy…and we all need that these days.
So how can you put this tip into practice? It's as easy as 1, 2, 3:
Add spinach to smoothies.
Always have frozen veggies in your kitchen (to make them actually taste good, microwave the frozen veggies for 5 minutes and then sauté in olive oil with seasoning for another 5 minutes).
Prep small bags/containers of cut up veggies. This is so you actually eat them. I know where vegetables go to die…the drawer at the bottom of your fridge. Save the veggies and put them in plain sight so you remember to eat them!
