How To Stay Motivated When Things Get Tough

It may seem early for this, but we’re gearing up for the holidays. When it comes to your health, how are you going to tackle the 2020 holiday season?

There are two ways to go here:

  1. Overindulging and starting 2021 in a negative mind space.

  2. Enjoying yourself in a balanced way and starting 2021 healthier than ever.

The choice is yours!

I’ll be honest with you...choice 2 isn’t going to be easy. Motivation can be tricky when you’re surrounded by your favorite holiday treats and drinks over the next 3 months.

Get yourself an accountability partner.


Hire a coach or find a friend/family member who will keep you accountable no matter what. Check in with your partner weekly. Tell them your goals for the week, and make them keep you accountable to your goals! Having another person there to support you makes it more likely that you’ll stay on track when things get tough.
