Have you ever woken up after a weekend of food, drinks, and fun and wanted to try a detox? I know the feeling. You’re bloated, tired, and ready to feel back to normal ASAP.

It’s tempting to reach for the many detox options out there like detox teas, juices, and diets to reset the body and feel great again. Unfortunately, these products can be super expensive and detox diets kinda suck.

What if I told you that the best detox for your body isn’t one you can buy?


The best detox is your liver and kidneys.


You read that right. Your liver and kidneys detox your body 24/7. I know this isn’t sexy and it's not something that comes with convincing packaging that says it's going to completely "clean you out" and give you a "reset." But it's true.

Save your money and time. The next time you want to feel better after a food and/or drink bender, try these three things instead:

  1. Drink water. Half your body weight in ounces every day.

  2. Eat throughout the day. At least 3 meals, plus snacks if you're hungry.

  3. Eat lean protein, whole grains, and veggies at meals. If you're still hungry, load up on veggies and protein.
