The 2020 holiday season is here, and while it looks much different than usual, there are a few things that remain the same:
The holiday cookies.
The special meals you only get this time of year.
The stress of the holiday season (multiplied by 100...because 2020 has been a hell of a year).
Stress eating can take over our lives this time of year. The nutrition tip this week will help you stay on track when you're feeling stress:
Find your non-food comfort.
This means that instead of reaching for the tin of cookies every time you start stressing about what the holidays will look like this year, seek comfort elsewhere.
Here are some ideas:
Take a bubble bath.
Light a candle.
Listen to a favorite podcast or song.
Take some time right now to decide what your non-food comfort is, and practice it throughout this month.
